Biography
The film work runs in two lanes. The first is mainstream cinema, small parts in large films: Earth Girls Are Easy in 1988, a cameo in Lost Highway, another in Face/Off, a turn as a sexy girl in a restaurant in The Nutty Professor. The second lane made her name with a narrower audience: Midnight Tease in 1994, her first starring role, then Caged Heat 3000, Friend of the Family, I Like to Play Games, Sheer Passion and Pray for Power. She was credited as Cassandra Leigh on some and as Lissa Boyle or Lisa Boyles on others. Television put her in five episodes of a network sitcom as Fawn, and in Dream On, Silk Stalkings and The Hughleys. Two music videos followed, for Aerosmith and Warren G.
Off camera she works as a photographer, shooting for her own site and freelancing for magazines, which makes her unusual in a trade where most performers are only ever the subject. The skin carries its own record: a pink bow at the nape, another at the tailbone, one on the inner left wrist, a pink Japanese sign for feline at the right ankle, and a left arm worked up to the shoulder. She wore a belly ring before it was common. The aliases come in a cluster of near misses, Lisa D. Boyle, Lissa Boyle, Lisa Boyles, Cassandra Leigh and Cassandrea Leigh. This page gathers them with the portrait and the profile link in six languages, and it does not claim to be her official site.
